The Acqua+Vento trousers are made primarily of Acqua Zero Eco – a fabric that combines waterproof properties with excellent breathability. The front of the trousers also features panels made of the Super Roubaix membrane (an additional layer of material is strategically placed on the thighs, knees, and shins), which also breathes well while providing additional wind protection and managing moisture, effectively wicking it away. Besides ensuring comfort during rides in cold and demanding conditions, Giordana also considered safety, and at first glance, the Italians have taken a brilliant approach – the legs, and especially the shins, where movement is most visible during pedaling, feature large, reflective pixel panels. These are reflective material that reflects light in low-visibility conditions, thus drawing the attention of other road users.
